Libya’s Legal System & Shari’a Law

Libya’s interim government recently announced that the country’s legal system will now be based on Islamic law.  On October 24, 2011, CBC News interviewed Islamic law expert, Abed Awad, to explain what Shari’a law is and the impact it’ll have on Libya.  See the full interview below.

  4. Some Laws are Universal. While others tend to be confusing and conflicting. The video sums up and solidifies this fact.
